I enjoyed the interactive aspect of our class this evening. I especailly appreciated stating our hopes and fears for the course. It appears that most of us have the same concerns associated with the class. The writing course will be time intensive, and I am hoping I am able to keep up with the course load.
I am glad to be using new technology, and I am curious how this applies to the class. It will be interesting to see the connection as the class progresses. I went into the AET Zone again when I arrived home, but there were not many people in there. With all the programs available to do online discussions and interactions, I hope the Zone is worth my time.
It was great learning something new about everyone tonight. This cohort is a lot of fun to be around and makes class interesting. Let's continue on this path together.

I am also a bit overwhelmed about the work involved in this class! I came home this afternoon and started at 4:30 and it's 9:00 and I'm still at it! I know it is a challenge for you to juggle a new baby along with the demands of our classwork. Just hang in there and take it one day at a time. Sounds like you have a good support system.
I was finally able to get on the Zone tonight. Dr. Tashner had given me a user id a few weeks ago, so my password was different from the rest of the class. Once I got my notes from Dr. Tashner, I was able to get on with no problem. You know technology is one of my passions, so I really like it. I can't wait to get with someone in the class to chat.

I was also glad to hear everyone's hopes and fears for the writing class. I am glad to know that I am not alone with some of the fears that were discussed on Thursday night.
I have confidence that you will be a great mother. With the support that you have there is no way of going wrong. Being away from my son on Thursdays is hard, but with my support system, I know that it will be OK..

You have obviously figured out how to do more than one post. Please share that knowledge with me when we get to class Thursday. We were all overwhelmed by our first semester too, but we got through. I think if we take it one assignment at a time, one day at a time, we will be in good shape. You were wise to take the year off so you can enjoy being with your baby and meeting the demands of getting your doctorate.
